The Spook of Tsushima: Director's Cut drops tomorrow, and its new DLC Iki Island features a trio of shrines votive to standard PlayStation IPs.

One of the new discoveries to be ready-made happening Iki Island includes a trio of Wind Shrines. Although the game name calling themselves don't feature, each of these shrines is clearly dedicated to a different iconic PlayStation title.

Number 1 dormy, we've got the Enshrine of Ash, which is enclosed by European white birch trees. If you've played the PS4 War god, information technology's all really reminiscent of that opening aspect. It goes boost though, as on the common birch right aside the enshrine, there's a radiance handprint next to an ax embedded in the bark. There are even chains strewn around the area too.

Each of the shrines has a riddle to solve, and for this one, it's very clearly adding to that God of War extension:

"In recede, a tree diagram fruits
which grows from seed to sapling,
A unknown and son.
Male child, award your father's conflict
Show him the strength of your steel."

The second - The Blood-Stained Shrine - is focused altogether around Bloodborne, with raven feathers littering the area about the enshrine. There are Bloodborne items and elements at the foot of the shrine itself, with the associated riddle organism as follows:

"The first green of spring
sickens to grim, decaying,
plagued by blood and creature.
Orion, reject death's allure.
Prepare to affaire d'honneur man's frailty."

Hunter here existence a reference to the instrumentalist character naturally, and plenty of allusions to the game name throughout.

The third though, is quite obviously Apparition of the Colossus, with its iconic emblem, and a riddle that reads:

"Pit knows no season,
nor the colossus that was
felled to save one soul.
Rover, come like through mist,
a ghost molding no shadow."

Wanderer being the name given to the protagonist in the game, and the literal mention of the word colossus therein one both being total giveaways.

All three are shrines that are to be resolved, and we're still working on that unity, but we'll report back when we work out what the heck is going connected with these.

For now though, here are our thoughts on the latest expansion and the fact that Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island just solidified Jin Eastern Samoa one of PlayStation's greatest heroes
